When alone in car, we must always lock the door

This is another forward emai, might be a bit late, but the lesson still there for us to learn .

Horrifying Attack in Penang

As i'm typing furiously away on my keyboard, my brother's great friend in lying in Adventist Hospital now.

Yesterday night, when he is waiting for his girlfriend somewhere near The Place along Burmah Rd , an indian boy got into his Kelisa. That boy is trying to rob Kelvin alone. Of course, he fought back. But without his knowledge, 3 other indian boy had got into his car thru the backseat.

Kelvin was pressed against the sterring wheel of his car while being brutally abused by the 4 indians. Then he was forced to drive them to the nearest ATM machine. When they force him to say his ATM PIN number, one of them took out a scissor. That fucker repeatly stabbed Kelvin with that scissor all over this body while another pressed his head AGAIN agaisnt the wheel.

Losing alot of blood and being helpless at that time, he simply blurt out a series of number. I'm not sure whether those bastards got the money or not. After that, they drove to a remote road in Balik Pulau. Obviously took everything he has, phone, wallet, kelisa and the worst part is before they dump him there, they stripped him.

He was lucky that they did not stabbed his face or kick him down the slopy hillside road. He was saved by an uncle who was on his way home and was send to general hospital immediately.

Kelvin was savagely stabbeb 30-40 times on his back, and on his limbs as well which total up to over 100 stab. Not to mention those punches and kicks that he received. Those bastards are really vicious. The kelisa they took is consider a new car.

My brother who visited him in the hospital this afternoon said he has bandaged all over his body and is very weak at the moment. Being my brother, he still brings penthouse to cure kelvin's boredom in the hospital '_'

I really couldn't believe that this very guy who always come to my house during football nights to watch with my brother had to go thru such a gruesome ordeal like this. This was reported to the police. It was confirmed done by teenage indian boys that doesnt look more than 15-16 years old. If it wasn't for that kind uncle, i would have lost this friend.

My intention of posting this up to remind the people out there to be extremely careful right now. Whenever you are alone in the car, PLEASE LOCK! I do not wish to have such uncivilize act to happen again.

This has been really a bad week. 2 of my friends fathers has passed on. My deepest condolences to them and their family. Not only that, another friend was hijacked when he went to collect his car from the carpark. Luckily he jumped out of his car when he was forced to drive. He lost his Avanza. This happen in Penang as well.

So dear friends, before anything bad happen to our loved ones, please remember to lock the door

Push pocket ?

Push pocket in KL
I am sure you all have heard of "pick pocket".
A new trend "push pocket".
Read on¡K.. for your own good

A few days ago a new type of crime has surfaced in town. It
goes something like this:- Somebody slips a hand-phone into
your pocket, sometimes it could be just a wallet with an
identity card and a few ringgit.

A few minutes later, the 'owner' comes up and
confronts you, the 'thief '. He makes a big
commotion that you stole his stuff.

You, caught unaware, are then pulled aside by the
'owner' for a settlement you are intimidated and
threatened that if you do not pay up the police will be
brought in. If you pay up, this 'owner' lets you
go. If not, the police are brought in.

Another strange thing is that there always seems to be a
'witness' to the your 'theft'.

I am told this often happens to foreigners at the Kuala
Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) or even at LRT trains.
Given that you're 'guilty until proven
innocent' as far as the Malaysian police are concerned,
I understand some poor people are in jail for these
'offences'.

At the KLIA, the 'owner' throws his hand-phone and
wallet with the few ringgit notes into the luggage trolley
of a just arrived passenger. The drama unfolds a few
minutes later. The real culprit has
easily convinced our Malaysian police to arrest the real
victim (if he has not paid up the 'settlement'
demand). This is a very serious matter.

This is another form of extortionists operating in broad
daylight. They are disgusting criminals who will do
anything to rob and steal. The sickening part of the whole
scenario is that unless you pay the "quoted
settlement" money, they will put you in real trouble
by calling the police.

The real culprit gets back his hand-phone and wallet but
the real victim ( i.e. could be any one of us) is thrown
into the police lock up and charged in court.

So do be very careful, otherwise you may end up as a
"thief" as you have no way to prove your
innocence.

Pass it on..... let more people be aware of such things
around them.

Complete Moisture Plus

AMO Complete® MoisturePlus(tm) Contact Lens Solution Linked to Microbial Keratitis

New Eye Infection, AMO Recall its Complete MoisturePlus Contact Lens Solution
A Dangerous Contact Lens Solution Linked to Acanthamoeba Keratitis & Microbial Keratitis in Addition to Fungal Keratitis. Have your eyes been, once again, placed in danger of Bacterial Eye Infections, vision damage, or loss of sight?

On May 25, AMO (Advanced Medical Optics) announced a recall of their 'No Rub' Complete MoisturePlus Multipurpose Contact Solution. Although the company stands by its product and casts the blame on contact lens wearers who 'improperly store, disinfect or handle' their contact lenses, the CDC forced AMO to recall Complete Moisture Plus.

This Complete Moisture Plus recall is not so distant from Bausch & Lomb's recall of ReNu with MoistureLoc, which caused serious injury to many contact lens wearers. AMO's press release states they have known since January of 2005 about at least 46 patients who claimed to have contracted a unique form of keratitis from the AMO Recall solution.

This keratitis is called 'acanthamoeba keratitis (AK)'. From all indications, AMO Moisture Plus recall was delayed as long as Bausch did in coming forward and recalling the product; potentially exposing an untold number of unsuspecting contact lens wearers to this painful (AK) infection that can cause permanent vision loss or blindness.

Other reports seem to illustrate a company who knew about the potential link between (AK) and their Complete MoisturePlus Multipurpose Solution since as early as 2004. In 2004, the infection first occurred in more than a dozen people against the normal count of one or two in a year. Dr. Elmer Tu, an ophthalmologist at the University of Illinois, Chicago, along with other doctors attended around 35 patients from May 2003 to September of 2006, 55% of whom were infected due to usage of AMO Complete MoisturePlus recall solution.

According to Dr. Tu, AMO's Complete MoisturePLUS solution is not defective. It is just not designed to provide a shield to the eyes when they're exposed to soil or water where the risk of bacterial infection is significant. Julie Zawisza, an FDA spokes person, said,' The solution is not marketed to protect against the amoeba. But it's supposed to be free of any type of microorganisms. It's not supposed to result in anyone getting an infection.'

Once again, one must wonder what corporations who suspect problems with their products are thinking when they wait one, two, or more years before warning the public about a potential hazard provoked or caused by their product. We wonder how much injury must occur before corporate dollars are sufficient.

Acanthamoeba keratitis & Microbial Keratitis patients suffer symptoms very similar to other common bacterial eye infection, but the AK infection can result in the loss of eye sight. If you experience symptoms, including the following, we encourage you to first immediately seek treatment from an experienced, eye care professional:

' Eye pain
' Eye redness and soreness
' Hypersensitivity to light
' Reduction in visual acuity
' Temporary or, at the worst, permanent blindness
